The city of Ramadan in which the Qur'an was revealed |
In today's world people are familiar with the word
"sale", where shopkeepers lower the prices of goods.
What a chance that all the gates of heaven have been opened and
the angels are shouting: "O seeker of good, go forth and seeker of
evil, stop" (Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah)
These are the days when mercy, forgiveness and the seal of heaven
is sealed, voices are being called to forgive our sins, come that the devils
have been bound ...
Oh yes These are the days of Ramadan, these are the nights of
blessing and mercy. Let's say that the hours of Ramadan are approaching ...
Successful people are in control of almost every single moment of their life.
Well, what comes to your mind when you hear the name of Ramadan???
This is the name of doing sehri together at dawn, giving up hunger and thirst
from morning to evening and then breaking the fast, fritters, samosas and fruit
licks, etc.? That's what comes to mind first, isn't it? I also have some
similar thought..! But what does Allah say about Ramadan in the Qur’an:
Translation: “Ramadan is the month in which the Qur'an was
revealed, which is a guide for mankind and a clear teaching that guides to the
right path and makes clear the difference between right and wrong. He must fast
for the whole month. ” (Surat al-Baqarah)
This verse shows that Ramadan is the month of the birthday of the
Holy Quran. This month, the Holy Quran is recited and heard. But do we follow
what we read?
The month of Ramadan is a month of hard work and learning, a month
of cultivating moral qualities like patience and restraint. This Ramadan at
least wake up from this dream of negligence and wake up others, remind the
Ummah of its duty.
What is the main purpose of fasting? The month of Ramadan is the
month in which the Qur'an was revealed as a guidance for the people, and as
clear verses of guidance and the difference between truth and falsehood. So
whoever of you is present during this month let him fast. And whoever is sick
or on a journey, then he keeps count of it on other days. Allah wants ease for
you, not hardship for you. This is so that you may complete the count and
glorify Allah for guiding you. Perhaps you will be grateful.
Fasting is a source of training ... "When you entrust a trust
to a person, it is as if you are testing his honesty. If he passes the test and
does not betray the trust, he will have more strength to carry the burden of
the trust. In the same way, Allah puts your faith to the test for twelve hours
and fourteen hours a day for a month continuously, and when you meet this test,
you will be more capable of it. It seems to be born to fear Allah and avoid other
sins as well "(Maulana Maududi Rehmatullah)
What is Taqwa?
Taqwa means to create a deep fear of Allah in the heart and mind,
to be sure that Allah is everywhere, to monitor our every move and His servants
(angels) are making videos of us every single moment. ... On the Day of
Judgment, it will be shown to us like a movie, then the person will start
shouting about who was saving every single moment of my life like this. Due to
Corona's situation, it is necessary to resolve to spend the month of Ramadan with
a new spirit that inspires in people a spirit of divine love, contemplation of
the Hereafter, and jihad with the Qur'an. Let him rebuild the Ummah, nurture
its faith, and discover a new man within himself with the help of fasting and
the Qur'an.
